Avon Group works closely with its customers to ensure that the compounds used in the manufacture of our Rubber sub-components are designed to meet the exact requirements of the application, as well as the working environments in which the component is to be used.

Compound design, development and testing

Avon Group engineer compounds to your exact specifications or develop and test compounds to meet the precise requirements of the application.

We have a team of qualified chemists and a full laboratory service available to design or modify compounds for specific requirements. Our team has the expertise to design to customers’ exact needs and budget, thereby avoiding expensive over-engineered materials. The team supports compound and material development throughout the pre-production process, ensuring that compounds perform in the production environment exactly as intended.

Material selection

A wide range of standard compounds, as well as the ability to develop application-specific compounds, ensures that our customers get the most relevant and unbiased recommendation.


A fast response is often required by our customers when providing quotations and, in many instances, we can supply the information within 24 hours.

Accurate Mixing

Our Mixing facilities offer some of the most advanced capabilities available. We are able to manufacture development and production batches with either semi or fully automated weighing and ingredient dispensing systems, this results in the highest possible consistency and accuracy, ensuring stable and repeatable materials. Our systems give full traceability on all elements of the mixing process.


The software used in our mixing house is custom designed and has been a priority in our investment strategy.


Once material specification has been determined, our validation processes guarantee material consistency and end user compliance.
